Oils are generally discouraged as they can create buildup in jetting and draining systems. Boca recommends adding salts gradually to ensure that they dissolve properly. If using bubble bath in a jetted tub, do so sparingly as the jets are powerful and will maximize the creation of bubbles. If you are concerned about using a product please give us a call.
Boca Walk-In Tub users should feel free to spend as much or as little time as they like in each bath. Some options like the air and whirlpool jets will shut off after 20 minutes, but they can be restarted with the push of a button. Your heated seat and back will stay on for 30 minutes.
For tub users who install the rainfall showerhead and frequently shower while standing, a curtain adds privacy and can prevent splashing outside of the tub. Curtains can be installed in any manner desired. Boca recommends that the plastic portion of the curtain extend 5-6 inches below the top of the tub for maximum protection from spillage.

The time can vary depending on water pressure and other factors but our tubs generally fill at a rate of about 18 gallons per minute and drain in the industry standard time.
Each Boca tub is equipped with a handheld wand that can be used for sitting showers or to assist those with limited mobility. The wands are equipped with a ‘pause’ button and – when activated – can give the appearance of a leak or low water pressure. If you suspect a leak from the handheld wand, be sure that the pause button is not activated.
